Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide high-quality nursing care to patients within an ambulatory health care setting. This role includes performing routine clinical skills, assisting with office procedures, and supporting the physician group in daily practice functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical back-office support, including charting, taking blood pressures, performing EKGs, and assisting with office procedures.
• Obtain urine specimens, perform phlebotomy, and conduct telephone screenings.
• Schedule patient appointments and facilitate other routine office practice functions.
• Ensure supervision by licensed nursing personnel and the physician group when required.

Qualifications

• Current LVN or CMA license required.
• Current CPR or BLS certification required.
• Active and valid driver's license.

Experience

• Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a physician's office or hospital setting.
• Good venipuncture and injection experience preferred.
• Nephrology experience desired.
• Excellent customer service skills required.

Education

• High school diploma required.

Additional Requirements

• This is a float position requiring reliable transportation. Mileage reimbursement is provided for travel between clinics during company time, excluding home-to-clinic commutes.
