Job Summary
Our client is seeking a skilled Revenue Cycle Manager to manage third-party vendors, ensure vendor performance, and communicate results to practices. This role involves driving Accounts Receivable and working within a dynamic environment with flexibility to adapt quickly.
Responsibilities / Job Duties
- Manage third-party vendors and ensure their performance.
- Communicate vendor results, such as denials and management findings, back to practices.
- Help escalate and resolve vendor issues, focusing on Accounts Receivable (AR).
- For ModMed Focus: Manage internal workflows, performance, productivity, and quality while addressing the root cause of any denials.
- For Athena Focus: Work with both onshore and offshore teams to manage AR, with an evolving system lasting into 2027. The focus includes flexibility and the ability to write dynamic operational guidelines.

- Multi-State Experience: Must have managed multiple practices.
- Leadership Experience: Previous experience leading a team is required.
- Revenue Cycle Management: Deep understanding of AR management is essential.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to solve complex problems and work comfortably with spreadsheets.
- Fluid/Dynamic Environment: Must be adept at making quick decisions within a fast-paced setting.
- System Experience: Experience with ModMed or Athena is a plus.
- IPA Knowledge for the California-focused Athena role is beneficial.
Schedule / Shift
Flexible schedule, typically standard business hours. Flexibility across time zones is required, and willingness to adjust hours as needed.
