The clinic emphasizes a multidisciplinary approach, integrating minimally invasive procedures, behavioral health, physical therapy modalities, and conservative medication management to help patients improve function and quality of life.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate excels in a fast-paced clinical setting, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and provides exceptional patient-centered care. This position supports both neurology and pain management services.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Support

Prepare exam rooms and support physicians during neurological and interventional pain procedures

Collect patient vitals, medical histories, medication lists, and pain assessments

Assist with diagnostic testing workflows, including EMG, EEG, and ultrasound-guided procedures

Conduct urine toxicology screenings in alignment with controlled substance policies

Provide clear patient education on treatment plans and instructions
Administrative & Patient Coordination

Schedule appointments, referrals, and follow-up visits

Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR)

Support compliance tasks such as pill counts, pain contracts, and medication-monitoring protocols

Serve as a liaison between patients and clinical team members
Preferred Qualifications

Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent)

Previous experience in neurology, pain management, or a multispecialty medical office preferred

Strong communication, empathy, and organizational skills

Ability to work professionally with patients experiencing chronic pain or neurological disorders
