Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to assist in the production of high-quality parts per customer specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and technical skills, complemented by a genuine desire to continually learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow documented procedures for daily production tasks.
• Collaborate with the Engineering Team to develop new processes.
• Load fixtures and adjust processes as necessary.
• Utilize microscopes for part inspection and quality assessment.
• Refer to blueprints for job processing in accordance with specifications.
• Monitor equipment functionality and recommend maintenance or repairs.
• Set up jobs as needed.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
• Actively update job knowledge through educational opportunities and technical literature.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience as a Machine Operator in a machining or high-tech manufacturing environment (preferred).
• An educational background in light industrial trades or a post-secondary vocational program is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude for loading fixtures and making process adjustments.
• Proficiency with Windows-based computers.
• Adherence to trust-based policies.
• Strong work ethic and reliability to report for work consistently, including full shifts and overtime when needed.
• Flexibility to work on varied tasks based on business requirements.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented abilities.
• Experience in promoting process improvements.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Capability to interface with customers, troubleshoot issues, and provide exceptional service.
• Experience in safety promotion and management.
