Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated Microbiologist responsible for testing raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure they meet satisfactory levels of microbial quality as per cGMP standards. The role involves applying microbiological principles to interpret test results and monitoring controlled environments to maintain appropriate manufacturing and testing conditions. Key duties include planning and responding to analytical needs to facilitate the fast turnaround of pharmaceutical analyses.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform testing of raw material, in-process, and finished product samples according to approved procedures.
• Conduct environmental monitoring of manufacturing and laboratory facilities, including cleanroom environments, personnel, water systems, compressed gases, and laminar flow hoods.
• Identify microbial isolates using manual or automated techniques in accordance with written procedures and customer timelines.
• Prepare media, solutions, materials, and equipment to support sampling and testing.
• Conduct growth promotion and quality testing on media used for microbiological testing and environmental monitoring in the Microbiology QC Department as needed.
• Maintain record storage systems for quick and reliable data retrieval.
• Provide support to laboratory projects and assist other team members as needed.
