Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide senior-level administrative support. This role involves coordinating various academic programs such as Residency, Academic, Fellowship, Education, or Credentialing, as well as performing advanced administrative tasks. Primary responsibilities include scheduling complex meetings, editing and formatting documents, and maintaining electronic filing systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the administrative coordination of academic programs including Residency, Academic, Fellowship, Education, or Credentialing.
- Perform advanced administrative tasks and provide senior-level support to executives, physicians, or teams.
- Schedule complex meetings for executive leadership and teams on campus.
- Edit, format, and review documents, ensuring grammatical and typographical accuracy.
- Develop and maintain electronic and paper filing systems for retention and information security.
- Research, analyze, and summarize information for reports and communicate findings.
- Receive, read, and prioritize incoming correspondence, and manage supplies and equipment maintenance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Three to five years of related administrative experience; medical office experience preferred.
- Accurate typing and data entry skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet research tools.
- Knowledge of general customer service practices.
- Effective and diplomatic communication with team members and the public.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a dynamic environment.
