Position Title: Medication Dispensing Nurse (LPN) for an Adult Outpatient Program
About the Program: This outpatient treatment program provides cost-effective, evidence-based care for individuals with chronic and severe substance use disorders. The team is committed to supporting patients on their path to recovery through compassionate treatment, medication services, and structured clinical support.
Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dependable LPN Medication Dispensing Nurse to join our Adult Outpatient Mobile Unit. This role is ideal for a nurse who wants to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals working toward recovery. In this position, you will collaborate with a dedicated clinical team to administer daily medications, monitor patient well-being, and support adherence to treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities: Administer medications such as Methadone, Suboxone, Naltrexone, Antabuse, and extended-release injectable naltrexone. Provide medication dosing through a clinical dispensing window, verifying patient identity and observing ingestion (up to ~200 patient encounters per shift). Assess patients for treatment appropriateness and clinical follow-up needs. Monitor vital signs, observe physical conditions, and report findings to medical staff. Perform blood draws, TB tests, and obtain lab results. Evaluate adverse medication reactions, overdose-related concerns, and issues related to HIV/HCV. Handle infectious materials safely and in compliance with policy. Perform additional duties as assigned by nursing leadership
Location: In a Mobile Unit in Westside Arvada - The day begins onsite at the clinic before transitioning to the mobile unit.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5 am – 1:30 pm
-Mobile unit arrival is typically between 6:30–8:00 AM

Required Qualifications:
-High school diploma or GED
-2 years of nursing, medication dispensing, or related clinical experience
-An active LPN or RN license with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA)
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience in medication-assisted treatment (MAT)
-Experience working with individuals with substance use disorders
-IV certification
-Background in drug/alcohol treatment
-Experience working with clients involved in probation, human services, or external referral sources
-Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
