Job Summary
As an integral member of the Pharmacy team, our client seeks a Clinical Trial Manager to enhance the reputation and service-orientation of the Department. The primary responsibilities include coordinating, collaborating, and providing expertise in support of clinical investigational drug trials, performing education responsibilities, dispensing medication accurately and efficiently, and overseeing pharmacy operations in the assigned area.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain responsibility for clinical investigational drug trials.
- Review protocols for clinical investigational drug trials and liaise with principal investigators to establish pharmacy’s role and procedures.
- Provide education and training related to clinical investigational drug trials to staff and healthcare professionals.
- Ensure accurate and efficient medication dispensing and adherence to study protocols.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and software program development to manage drug trials.
- Supervise technical/support staff and maintain responsibility for pharmacy operations in the assigned area.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between various departments and organizations.
Qualifications
- Experience in clinical investigational drug trials is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
- Ability to train and educate staff effectively.
- Ability to supervise and delegate tasks to technical staff.
Experience
- Previous experience managing clinical investigational drug trials and pharmacy operations is preferred.
