Overview
We are seeking a mid-level Technical Support Specialist to provide Tier 2/3 support for radiologists and clinical staff, with a primary focus on Clario and other radiology-related applications. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and highly customer-focused, ensuring radiologists receive reliable, timely, and effective technical assistance. The ideal candidate brings strong application and end-user support experience, excels in troubleshooting, and is comfortable working independently to resolve escalated issues.
This position requires the ability to work West Coast hours to support extended radiology coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide real-time support to radiologists (RADS) via chat and escalated ticket workflows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical and application issues, including Clario-related failures and general workstation/application malfunctions (e.g., microphone issues, connectivity problems).
- Support clinical imaging applications with a strong emphasis on radiology workflows.
- Handle Tier 2/Tier 3 support requests and ensure timely resolution or escalation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address recurring issues, application defects, and workflow inefficiencies.
- Document issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service, communicating clearly and effectively with clinical end users under time-sensitive conditions.
Required Qualifications (3–5 Must-Haves)
- Mid-level (Tier 2/Tier 3) Help Desk or Technical Support experience.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and application support skills (preferred over deep clinical or radiology knowledge).
- Experience with Application Support and End-User Support in a production environment.
- General understanding of healthcare environments (preferred, but not required).
- Ability to reliably work West Coast hours for extended support coverage.
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Exposure to PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) or RIS (Radiology Information Systems).
- Background supporting radiology workflows or radiology-focused teams.
- Familiarity with Clario or similar clinical imaging/viewing applications.
Candidate Background
- Candidates should come from support-focused environments (not training-focused).
- Experience in roles such as Application Support Analyst, Technical Support Specialist, Help Desk Tier 2/3, Clinical Support Analyst, or similar backgrounds is ideal.
