Center Manager - Primary Care Clinic
Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Location: Multiple New Clinic Sites in Milwaukee, WI
A rapidly growing, innovative healthcare organization is opening several new primary care clinics focused on delivering high-quality, value-based care to the senior population. We are seeking an experienced Center Manager to lead clinic operations, support care teams, and build a culture rooted in service, quality, and community connection.
Position Summary
The Clinic Operations Manager is a key operational leader responsible for the full performance of a single clinic, including clinical and administrative operations, team management, compliance, financial performance, and patient satisfaction. This role directly supervises clinical and non-clinical staff and ensures efficient daily workflows that support exceptional care delivery.
Managers in this role will also be responsible for understanding and executing the principles of a Value-Based Care (VBC) model, including tracking critical metrics, managing referrals, overseeing scheduling, and supporting clinic growth from launch through maturity.
Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and coach a multidisciplinary team of 10+ staff members, fostering a culture of operational excellence and customer service

Partner with regional leadership to elevate patient experience and continuously improve patient satisfaction

Oversee daily operations including scheduling, billing, referral management, and resource optimization

Ensure all clinical and administrative systems are running efficiently and staff are properly trained

Act as a community ambassador by building relationships with local healthcare partners and community organizations

Maintain compliance with documentation standards, coding audits, safety guidelines, and HIPAA regulations

Conduct team meetings to build engagement, gather feedback, and establish best practices

Manage clinic staffing, budgeting, financial reporting, and performance goals

Support clinicians and care teams to ensure high-quality, coordinated care delivery

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong working knowledge of medical clinic operations, billing, coding, reimbursement, and quality improvement

Proven ability to develop and implement processes that enhance patient experience

High emotional intelligence, integrity, and a strong work ethic

Ability to work effectively across diverse roles and populations

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Experience with budgeting and fiscal management (preferred)
Education & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)

5+ years of experience in a medical clinic, hospital, or hospitality setting
-
3+ years of supervisory or managerial experience in a regulated medical environment

Experience with value-based care, managed care, or Medicare Advantage strongly preferred

Experience with ECW (eClinicalWorks) is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: $70,000–$80,000
