Membership Consultant – Senior Healthcare (Milwaukee, WI)

The Membership Consultant plays a critical role in driving growth by connecting with seniors, community organizations, and referral partners to expand patient membership. This position is ideal for professionals with strong interpersonal skills, a proactive sales approach, and a passion for serving the senior population.
Day to Day:

Drive new patient enrollment through direct-to-consumer and community-based outreach.

Build trusted relationships with seniors, caregivers, and community partners to promote access to quality care.

Develop and maintain referral relationships with brokers, Medicare Advantage agents, senior housing managers, caseworkers, and other key influencers.

Plan, coordinate, and execute three or more community events weekly to generate interest and leads.

Represent the organization at local events, open houses, and health education sessions.

Use Salesforce to manage leads, track activity, and document interactions accurately.

Support new members through their first appointment to ensure a positive onboarding experience.

Collaborate closely with internal marketing, clinical, and community relations teams to align outreach strategies.

Spend approximately 80% of time in the field engaging directly with the community.
Qualifications:
Required:

High school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred)

Minimum 1 year of sales or community relations experience (2+ years preferred)

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Demonstrated success in field-based sales roles

CRM proficiency (Salesforce experience strongly preferred)

Strong interpersonal communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills
Preferred:

Background in healthcare, Medicare Advantage, or insurance sales

Experience working with seniors or medically underserved populations

Established network of community or healthcare contacts in the Birmingham area

Self-motivated professional with a “hunter” mentality and high level of initiative

Uncapped Commission Structure (average first-year earnings ~$80,000; top performers exceed $90,000)
