Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Dental Assistant to join their team at a new location. This role involves providing advanced practice dentistry in collaboration with Valley Health Services. The position starts with part-time hours, with the potential to increase to full-time as the patient load grows.

Key Responsibilities

• Review patient load and prepare for the day by stocking rooms, building trays, and sterilizing instruments.
• Gather dental history and intake information.
• Conduct digital x-rays using Shick Sensors.
• Assist the dentist during exams, including documentation for teeth coding, fillings, dentures, crowns, and teeth whitening.
• Create bite molds/impressions for night guards, crowns, and dentures.
• Assist at the front desk and phone coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have x-ray certification in Ohio.
• Experience in creating bite molds and impressions is preferred.
• Open to new graduates with a few months of exposure.

Schedule

The role initially involves working three days per week, Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with the possibility to increase to full-time hours as patient numbers increase.
