Job Summary
Our client is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer for a dynamic team focused on insights and analytics. The team has grown substantially over the last five years, investing heavily in intellectual capital to develop products and services aligned with strategic priorities. DevOps Engineers are integral in supporting and optimizing IT infrastructure and technical environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee insights and analytics across the organization.
- Collaborate with data science and machine learning teams.
- Maintain and optimize IT infrastructure, including 120+ Linux servers.
- Handle Big Data operations with PostgreSQL and Python.
- Utilize OpenStack data architecture and tools like Ansible, Chef/Puppet.
- Engage in ELK (Elasticsearch) deployment for data aggregation and search.
Qualifications
- Experience with hybrid on-premises and cloud environments.
- Proficient in Python for data operations and visualization.
- Familiarity with software as code practices involving Ansible, Chef/Puppet.
- Understanding of ETL processes with open-source technologies.
