Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Follow-Up Representative to work remotely. This role focuses on ensuring timely and accurate resolution of outstanding claims in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include managing high-volume accounts and being proactive and organized.
Responsibilities / Job Duties
- Manage primary and secondary claims.
- Respond promptly to billing inquiries from clinics, insurance companies, and other departments.
- Resolve denials and submit appeals.
- Utilize the most efficient resources to secure timely payment of open claims.
- Ensure daily accomplishments contribute toward company goals for A/R.
- Resolve accounts in follow-up queues.
Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements
Education
- High School/G.E.D or equivalent combination of education and experience required
Qualifications
- 1-year prior medical receivable collections experience preferred
- Understanding of medical claims processing
- Experience with insurance portals
- Knowledge of insurance, including State and Federal rules and regulations as they relate to billing and collections
- Ability to understand claim denials/rejections
- Ability to read an Explanation of Benefits
- Knowledge of medical terminology
Schedule / Shift
Full-time (40 hours/week, Monday-Friday).
