Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator to handle check-in procedures at their busiest and largest location. This role requires an individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and is adept at welcoming patients with a friendly demeanor.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients upon arrival and collect identification and demographic information.
- Ensure pre-registration and review charts to collect all necessary information.
- Manage patient collections for payments such as copays and deductibles.
- Schedule patient appointments and handle referrals.
- Support phone line inquiries and manage appointment confirmations and cancellations.
- Utilize EMR and practice management platforms including SRS and Next Tech.
Qualifications
- Experience with any Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
- Minimum of 1-year exposure to a medical office environment.
- Must be a people person who enjoys interacting with a diverse patient population.
Experience
- 1-year minimum experience in a medical office setting.
Skills
- Proficient with EMR systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Requirements
- Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch break.
