A leading Contract Research Organization (CRO) is seeking a dedicated Training Lead to ensure the highest standards of technical expertise and data integrity within their In Vivo Operations. The Training Lead is responsible for the development, coordination, and assurance of GLP-compliant training across the Scientific Services group. You will serve as the technical expert and mentor, ensuring uniform proficiency and accurate documentation across all in vivo procedures.
Key Responsibilities Include:

Hands-On Instruction: Design and conduct practical, hands-on training for staff in technical procedures, animal handling, and data acquisition.

GLP Compliance & SOPs: Guarantee all training procedures and practices adhere strictly to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) regulations. Lead the review and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and lesson plans.

Quality Assurance: Perform administrative support, training planning, and scheduling. Conduct QC review of training documentation and data in a timely manner.

Leadership & Mentorship: Act as a departmental role model for accuracy and positive work ethic, fostering teamwork and technical excellence among new and current hires.

Animal Care Oversight: Monitor and train staff on the proper handling, restraint, and maintenance of laboratory animals and facilities in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
We require a candidate with proven technical expertise in a regulated setting, particularly with key species.
Core Requirements:

Experience: 2–3+ years of direct in vivo research experience in a CRO or comparable regulated environment.

Technical Skills: Demonstrated expertise in complex technical procedures including IV administration, injections, and euthanasia, with specific experience working with Non-Human Primates (NHP) being highly preferred.

Regulatory Knowledge: Established experience working in a GLP or equivalent regulated work environment.

Attributes: Strong leadership, excellent interpersonal skills, and a genuine passion for teaching and mentoring new staff.
Compensation & Growth:

Competitive Compensation: Base pay starts in the range of $30/hr – $35/hr. Exceptional candidates with extensive NHP experience may qualify for up to $38/hr, with a potential $5,000 sign-on bonus for relocation.
