Job Summary

Our client is seeking an Assembly Technician for a position on the 1st shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for comprehending and performing manual assembly and production tasks according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within the Kit Assembly department.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately complete all production-related documentation.
• Set up, troubleshoot, and operate production equipment within the assembly area.
• Maintain product quality.
• Assist in the setup and preparation of required production materials.
• Contribute to cross-functional process improvement initiatives.
• Support department and corporate goals.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years of related work experience.
• Understanding of FDA and cGMP regulated production practices is preferred.
• Proficient in using general/automated laboratory/production equipment.
• Basic mathematical skills are required.
• Computer savvy.

Skills

• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a team environment.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.

Additional Requirements

• The work environment is fast-paced, requiring quick changes in priorities and multi-tasking while maintaining professionalism.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
• Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.
• No travel required.
