Job Summary
Our client is seeking a qualified Pharmacist responsible for managing and overseeing study procedures, patient education, and ensuring compliance with regulatory protocols. The role involves meticulous documentation, data management, and monitoring of clinical study activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Educate patients or caregivers on study procedures, expectations, and anticipated outcomes.
- Monitor study activities to ensure adherence to study protocols and compliance with regulations.
- Complete all source documentation accurately while the patient is on site.
- Enter completed source documentation into the Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system within 48 hours of patient visits.
- Maintain inventory of laboratory and study supplies; notify manager for reordering.
- Keep accurate and complete records of all study activities, including case report forms and drug dispensation records.
- Conduct protocol-specific procedures like subject interviews, vital sign collection, ECGs, and specimen collection.
- Document and report all adverse events and collaborate with investigators for timely reporting to sponsors.
- Resolve EDC queries within 24 hours of receipt from the sponsor.
- Dispense investigational products or medical devices, monitor drug compliance, and provide administration instructions.
- Maintain full drug accountability including logging receipt of medication shipments.
- Create and maintain accurate master logs for each study.
- Participate in quality assurance and monitoring audits as required.
- Label and organize drug storage areas; ensure received study drugs are verified and stored immediately.
- Record and maintain daily temperature logs for all drug storage units, as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
