Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Visual Inspector responsible for visually inspecting filled products to ensure they meet quality standards. The role involves working under the guidance of the Associate Director of Quality Assurance Operations & Validation to ensure no visible defects or particulates in product or packaging.
Key Responsibilities
- Randomly select and inspect filled but unlabeled products for defects.
- Ensure units are inspected before shipment to the customer.
- Follow documented procedures in a cGMP environment to ensure attention to detail.
- Perform manual and automated visual inspection processes.
- Apply labeling and conduct packaging operations.
- Complete and document inspection activities accurately and timely.
- Conduct additional quality checks as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Quality management.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of cGMP regulations pertaining to 21 CFR 210, 211, and 503B environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication and computer skills.
- Goal-oriented, quality-conscious, and customer-focused.
- Understanding of laboratory science and aseptic techniques.
- Effective communication skills and ability to follow work instructions.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
Experience
- Experience in a cGMP environment recommended.
Skills
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
- Proficient in computer and documentation skills.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work up to 8 hours under bright light conditions.
- Must have 20/20 vision, unaided or corrected, and not be colorblind.
- Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
