Job Summary
Our client is seeking an Engagement Specialist to join their Engagement team. As the first point of contact, you will work with in-market and centralized teams to engage both prospective and current members, providing a welcoming and supportive experience. The primary responsibilities include scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound and answer inbound calls to build awareness of services.
- Schedule appointments using the internal scheduling platform with accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure complete and accurate documentation for a successful member experience.
- Transfer clinical inquiries to the Clinical team when necessary, with the help of leaders.
- Build deep trust and rapport with members and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a healthcare call center or member/patient engagement environment.
- At least 1-2+ years of contact-center technology experience, specifically with Genesys.
- At least 1-2+ years of sales experience.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets in engagement or sales roles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to respond appropriately to member needs.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders.
- Empathetic and member-first attitude in all interactions.
- Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to the client's mission, vision, and values.
Experience
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a healthcare call center or member/patient engagement environment.
- Specific experience with Genesys and in contact center technologies.
Skills
- Proficiency with Genesys.
- Multitasking in a high-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Slack.
- Effective communication and empathy skills.
