Job Summary

Our client is seeking three Accounts Receivable Analysts to support their healthcare-related projects. The selected individuals will play a crucial role in managing various patient account types, including unpaid, underpaid, and denied claims, with a specific focus on Medicaid insurance claims. The position requires handling appeals and managing an initial backlog of accounts before focusing on current accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all types of patient accounts, including unpaid, underpaid, no status, and denied claims.
• Focus on processing Medicaid insurance claims efficiently.
• Utilize EMR: Cerner Millennium for managing records.
• Responsible for appeals when necessary.
• Register for ID-ME through Medicaid.
• Work with a backlog of accounts initially and then focus on current accounts.
• Maintain transparency with the client by actively monitoring accounts and work progress.

Qualifications

• Experience in handling HB (Hospital Billing) or PB (Professional Billing).
• Proficiency in Epic systems based on previous work experience.

Experience

• Requires prior experience in handling hospital or professional billing systems.
• Experience with Epic systems in a healthcare setting is preferred.

Skills

• Technical proficiency in Cerner Millennium and Epic systems.
• Strong skills in managing Medicaid insurance claims.
• Effective communication and ability to work under pressure to manage and resolve claims efficiently.

Additional Requirements

• System access and IT equipment ordering process takes approximately 10 days post offer acceptance.
• Initial orientation followed by shadowing for about a week.
