Job Summary
Our client is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a dynamic team that forms the backbone of insights and analytics for their organization. The primary responsibilities include managing a hybrid on-prem and cloud environment, driving infrastructure operations, and handling a robust data stack.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee infrastructure operations utilizing both OpenStack and Azure Cloud environments.
- Manage and optimize a data architecture that includes 120+ Linux servers and PostgreSQL databases.
- Collaborate on ETL processes using Python and open-source technologies for data transformation and visualization.
- Implement software as code solutions utilizing tools like Ansible and Chef/Puppet.
- Use ELK (Elasticsearch) for rapid data searches and aggregation.
Qualifications
- Experience with hybrid on-prem and cloud infrastructure, specifically OpenStack and Azure Cloud.
- Proficiency in managing PostgreSQL databases and Linux server environments.
- Strong programming skills in Python for data management and visualization.
- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes and goals.

- Technical skills in Python, PostgreSQL, Ansible, and Chef/Puppet.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
