Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Technical Project Manager with a focus on Epic application implementations. The successful candidate will manage the full life cycle of Epic application projects, ensuring successful deployment within set parameters of scope, budget, and time.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full life cycle of Epic application implementations.
- Lead cross-functional technical teams, including developers, analysts, and infrastructure engineers.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors, interface engine partners, and hardware/software providers.
- Engage with executive stakeholders, clinical leadership, and technical teams to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
- Oversee risk, issue, audit, and compliance management related to technical systems.
- Ensure projects meet healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA and HITECH.
Qualifications
- Experienced in managing full life cycle Epic application implementations with recent build experience.
- Possession of up-to-date Epic certifications.
- Certification in one or more areas relevant to the Epic application suite.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
- Proficiency in server environments, system architecture, network configurations, and infrastructure dependencies.
- Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards like HIPAA, HITECH, CMS, ONC.
Experience
- Demonstrated track record of deploying Epic applications on time, within budget, and meeting scope.
Skills
- Excellent project management and delivery skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical proficiency in test/dev/QA/prod environments and deployment automation.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to travel as needed to support project implementations.
