Two Primary Care Clinics in Denny Creek and Ballard are looking for a Medical Assistant to join their team. Both clinics focus on quality of care over productivity, with a low patient-to-provider ratio.
Overview of Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of patient check-in and greeting.
- Prep charts and manage the daily appointment schedule.
- Maintain a clean and organized patient exam area.
- Communicate patient status and needs to clinicians.
- Assist with patient check-out and follow-up duties.
- Perform both clinical and administrative duties, including referrals, prior authorizations, scheduling, and phone calls.
Requirements:
- DOH Certified MA (CMA or MA-C).
- BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association, Red Cross, or Military Training Network.
- Current vaccination attestation/documentation (COVID, Flu, Hep B).
- Comfortable working in a primary care setting.
Additional Skills:
- Experience with EPIC/MyChart or another EMR system.
- Background in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics.
- Phlebotomy experience is a plus.
Schedule/Shift:
- Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM.
- No patient time between 12 PM–1 PM.
Contract Length:
- 801 hours. Opportunity for permanent hire after the satisfactory completion of the contract.
Pay:
- $25.96 - $38.94 (Depending on experience)
