Job Summary

Our client, providing a comprehensive healthcare program for seniors, is seeking a passionate and driven Physical Therapist. This role involves empowering seniors to age in place while living safely and independently. The successful candidate will provide coordinated healthcare and supportive services, focusing on general strengthening, balance, fall prevention, and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide assessments and therapy treatments, focusing on generalized strengthening, balance, and fall prevention.
• Coordinate with the primary care physician and other healthcare providers to ensure cohesive care plans for participants.
• Order, fit, and educate on supplies and equipment for participants, such as knee braces, ankle braces, walkers, wheelchairs, and shoes.
• Participate in increasing the center's patient census and help determine patient load as it grows.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree (DPT) required from an APTA-accredited university or equivalent.
• Valid State licensure as a Registered Physical Therapist (DPT).

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with the geriatric population.

Additional Requirements

• Relevant experience in outpatient settings, preferably with seniors aged 55 and above.
