Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist responsible for providing clinical consultative services and therapeutic recommendations to patients and hospice personnel. The role includes evaluating medication profiles, addressing customer issues, and maintaining a secure medication environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical consultative services to patients and therapeutic recommendations to hospice personnel.
- Evaluate medication profiles and suggest modifications to optimize regimens.
- Handle customer questions and resolve issues professionally.
- Enter, access, and retrieve data in the pharmacy system.
- Transcribe, verify, and fill prescription orders.
- Maintain proper storage and security conditions for medications.
- Contribute to a productive and error-free work environment.
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with prioritization skills.
- Ability to work independently and remain professional under stress.
- Ability to cooperate with pharmacists and technicians.
- Current Pharmacist License in good standing with the State Board.
- Doctor of Pharmacy Degree or BS Pharmacy Degree.
Education
- Doctor of Pharmacy Degree or BS Pharmacy Degree.
