Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Desktop Technician to join their team. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide critical IT support during the ongoing acquisition and transition process, ensuring smooth operations as the organization integrates and updates their systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first and second-level technical support for end-users, troubleshooting workstations, printers, and login/access issues.
- Perform hands-on tasks including unboxing, setting up, and deploying new PCs, as well as swapping out malfunctioning equipment.
- Work with the ServiceNow ticketing system to manage, update, and resolve service requests and incidents.
- Conduct initial troubleshooting for general networking issues and escalate to remote teams as needed.
- Support the transition to Epic by providing on-site readiness and support.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in IT support, deskside services, or helpdesk roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and the Microsoft Office Suite/Email.
- Experience working with a ticketing system is essential.
- Networking knowledge to diagnose and escalate issues.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft's Windows 10/11 operating systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for a variety of hardware and software issues.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a flexible and proactive approach to problem-solving.
Additional Requirements
Must be able to work on-site full-time.
