Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Repair Technician responsible for repairing equipment including controllers, power supplies, print heads, and ink systems. The individual will inspect and test products to maintain a high level of quality, adjusting and tuning them for optimum service and reliability according to established procedures.
Pay: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour (based on experience)
Contract: Full-time, long-term contract (approx. 1040 hours) with potential for extension or hire

Description: The Repair Technician will be responsible for conducting full lifecycle equipment repairs, including evaluation, disassembly, troubleshooting, cleaning, repair, reassembly, and final testing. This role ensures high-quality, reliable performance of controllers, power supplies, print heads, and ink systems. The technician will work independently from start to finish on each work order, maintaining accuracy, documentation, and adherence to established processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair equipment including controllers, power supplies, print heads, and ink systems.
- Inspect, diagnose, and test products to ensure high-quality performance and reliability.
- Disassemble, evaluate, clean, repair, and reassemble components — full cradle-to-completion ownership.
- Operate diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, pulse generators, and strobe lights.
- Adjust, calibrate, and tune products according to documented procedures.
- Monitor inventory of working stock and report shortages to maintain workflow.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and work within tight tolerances and specifications.
- Complete repair reports for every work order and maintain accurate documentation.
- Recommend process improvements or new testing/repair methods.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Schedule:
M-F, 7:30-4PM
- Significant overtime opportunities (not mandatory).
- Optional Saturday shifts depending on workload.
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of hands-on repair or assembly experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with basic hand tools and testing equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and evaluate mechanical and electronic systems.
- Ability to work independently on full-cycle repairs from start to finish.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and documentation accuracy.
- Reliable work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to support the team when needed.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with precision assembly or mechanical/electrical repair environments.
- Exposure to continuous improvement or process enhancement efforts.
