Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for an outpatient facility. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of neuro scans, DAT scans, and PET brain imaging, primarily utilizing Siemens Biograph Horizon PET Cameras and Siemens Symbia E Nuclear Medicine Cameras. The technologist will work directly with the Director of Imaging for specialized training and collaborate with other modality techs during shifts.
Responsibilities / Job Duties
- Performing a wide range of nuclear medicine exams, excluding cardiac exams.
- Utilizing Siemens Biograph Horizon PET Cameras and Siemens Symbia E for imaging procedures.
- Managing and operating Intellirad for PACS and EMR using EXA.
- Maintaining a high level of patient care and adherence to safety protocols.
Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements
Education
No specific degree required, but ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine, CA License, and BLS are mandatory.
Qualifications
- ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine.
- Active California License for Nuclear Medicine.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Additional Requirements
California state license is required.
Schedule / Shift
Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts with flexible scheduling between 8:00 AM and 10:30 PM.
