Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst Consultant to join their team as an Epic Research Senior Systems Analyst. In this position, the candidate will assist in developing Epic application solutions by investigating processes to understand data and communications flow within the Integrated Delivery System. This role requires working well in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate users’ needs into detailed requirement specifications, identify system or application needs, and document current and future business processes.
- Facilitate and support Epic system installation through the implementation cycle, develop and schedule test plans, and prepare procedures for various operations.
- Perform configuration analysis for system design, facilitate design analysis with users, and specify design decisions for developers and database analysts.
- Analyze system problems and modifications, recommend modifications, and coordinate implementation and upgrades of systems.
- Participate in the IDS Committee as an IS representative and communicate with management on goals, problems, and solutions.
Qualifications
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including any recommended booster doses, unless exempted for medical or religious reasons.
- Required H.S. Diploma or GED; preferred Bachelor's Degree in computer science, business administration, healthcare administration, or related field.
- 9 years of experience in hospital information systems selection, implementation, and support.
- Direct experience at Epic Systems Corporation is highly valued, with every year of experience counted as two years.

- Minimum of 9 years in hospital information systems selection, implementation, and support.
Skills
- Technical skills related to Epic Research Experience/Certification.
- Project management and leadership skills.
