Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Endocrinology/Infectious Disease clinic on a contract-to-hire basis. The department is dedicated to offering exceptional patient care, focusing on Endocrinology and Infectious Disease cases and surgeries. The RN will join a team committed to quality care, providing critical support to patients in this specialty area.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for ER Runs when patient transport to the ER is necessary.
- Manage work pool messages based on physician directions.
- Coordinate care with Home Health services.
- Respond to patient phone calls.
- Engage in patient-facing activities such as injections and education, while assisting physicians.
- Provide support to Medical Assistants as needed.
- Execute DPC and administrative duties.
- Serve as a staff resource when providers are unavailable.
- Assist lab patients when necessary.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, or until 4:30 PM depending on lunch duration.
