Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join their rapidly growing outpatient radiology practice. The primary responsibilities include operating mammography equipment, performing diagnostic procedures, and maintaining records.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate mammography equipment and perform related procedures.
- Develop and evaluate films for technical quality.
- Educate patients on the importance of regular mammography for preventive health.
- Prepare and maintain records and clean equipment as needed.
- Work under general supervision to accomplish various tasks.
Qualifications
- Registered as a Radiologic and Mammography Technologist by the A.R.R.T.
- Current Radiology and Mammography license in the State.
- Valid hands-on CPR certification required.
Additional Requirements
This position may require lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, with frequent standing and walking.
