Job Summary
Our client is seeking a qualified Physical Thearpist to work in a dynamic and flexible team environment. The primary responsibilities include coding for various therapy modalities, therapeutic exercises, and other related duties to assist in both hospital and skilled nursing facilities (SNF). This role involves working primarily with outpatient services, but requires flexibility to assist in all areas as needed.
Responsibilities / Job Duties
- Perform coding for modalities, therapeutic exercises, soft tissue mobilization, gait training, and neuromuscular re-education.
- Assist with orthotic/prosthetic training and taping.
- Adapt to working in outpatient, acute care/rehab, and skilled facilities.
- Contribute to the development of restorative programs.
- Work collaboratively with a small, rural team that values flexibility and teamwork.
Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements
Qualifications
- Must hold a current CA state license.
- BLS certification required.
- Preferred to have 5 years of experience, with a willingness to consider other qualifications based on fit and flexibility.
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy, acute care/rehab, or skilled facility settings desired.
Schedule / Shift
Work hours are 8 AM to 5 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break. No weekends, on-call shifts, or holidays required. Guaranteed 36 hours per week, though all staff typically works 40 hours.
