Job Summary

Our client is seeking an Inpatient/Outpatient PTA for a small critical access hospital. This role involves working primarily with outpatient cases, but also requires assistance with hospital and skilled nursing facility duties. The ideal candidate should be comfortable and flexible in handling various responsibilities within these areas.

Responsibilities / Job Duties

• Perform therapy including, but not limited to, modalities, therapeutic exercise, soft tissue mobilization, gait training, neuromuscular re-education, orthotic/prosthetic training, and taping.
• Assist in the hospital and skilled nursing facility as needed.
• Develop restorative programs.

Minimum Education and Experience Qualification Requirements

Education

CA state license and BLS required.

Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient physical therapy, acute care/rehab, or skilled facility.
• Experience in restorative program development is desired.
• Being a flexible team player is crucial.
• 3-5 years of experience preferred but flexible.

Schedule / Shift

8AM-5PM, 1 hour lunch, no weekends, no on call, no holidays. Guaranteed 36 hours, with all staff typically working 40 hours.
