Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Scientist to provide expertise in cellular therapy and regenerative medicine assays, advancing their development portfolio. This role involves managing and coordinating scientific activities related to product testing, developing new products or services, and training laboratory personnel in relevant processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementation and continuous improvement of cellular therapy/regenerative medicine product assays.
- Serve as a leader and collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote cellular therapy assay products.
- Forge collaborative relationships with clients, staff, and strategic partners.
- Design, execute, and interpret laboratory experiments and validation studies.
- Provide guidance on scientific principles, author SOPs, contribute to training activities, and participate in audits.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Cellular Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or Cellular Engineering. A Doctoral Degree is preferred.
- Valid United States Driver’s License.
- Professional certifications are preferred.
Experience
- Requires five or more years of experience in regenerative medicine/cellular therapy testing, preferably in a cGMP and FDA regulated or clinical laboratory setting.
- Technical skills: aseptic technique, mammalian cell culture, flow cytometry, qPCR, multiplex ELISA, bioassay, potency assay, and microscopy.
