Patient Engagement Specialist 

Recruitment & Outreach
- Manage inbound patient inquiries from advertising campaigns, referrals, and site
databases.

- Conduct pre-screening calls to assess eligibility and schedule qualified participants for screening visits.

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all actively recruiting protocols to accurately educate potential participants.

-Document pre-screening results in CTMS and maintain accurate recruitment logs.

- Support community outreach efforts (events, physician networking, partnerships) to expand recruitment sources.

Engagement & Retention
- Serve as the primary point of contact for participants from first inquiry through study completion.

- Provide regular, proactive communication (calls, texts, emails) to reduce no-shows and dropouts.

- Support patients through logistics such as visit reminders, transportation coordination, and follow-up scheduling.

- Partner with CRCs and investigators to address patient concerns promptly and maintain adherence to study schedules.

Database & Metrics Management

- Track recruitment metrics, including response rates, show rates, and screen-fail rates.

- Maintain organized documentation of recruitment campaigns and outcomes for reporting to leadership.

- Provide weekly updates on recruitment performance, identifying barriers and recommending solutions.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

- Collaborate with marketing and site leadership to optimize recruitment strategies based on real-time data.

- Identify trends in patient interest, feedback, and screen failures to inform protocol feasibility discussions.

- Participate in training sessions and staff meetings to ensure alignment with site goals.
