Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join their healthcare team. The primary responsibilities include patient registration assistance, support during medical procedures, and management of patient communications. The role also involves performing lab tests and maintaining a patient-friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs, and collecting health history.
• Return calls and answer MyChart messages.
• Provide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes, and other first aid procedures.
• Certified medical assistants may assist with immunizations or injections.
• Assist patients with prescription requests, address pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, and update charting and filing.
• Conduct onsite lab testing, including EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose, and urine pregnancy tests.
• Maintain clean, warm, and inviting examination rooms for patient visits.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Some travel to assist other local clinics may be required.
