Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Inspector to join the quality assurance team on the 2nd shift from 12:00-8:30pm, Monday-Friday. The role involves ensuring product quality and safety in manufacturing or distribution settings through detailed inspections and testing. The QC Inspector I will collaborate closely with production or distribution teams to resolve quality issues and support process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on incoming materials, in-process items, and finished products.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
• Use measurement tools to verify product dimensions and specifications.
• Identify and report defects, deviations, and non-conformities.
• Collaborate with teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for product quality and efficiency.
• Evaluate and repackage inbound damaged finished goods.
• Support inventory stock checks, recall verifications, and product rework assignments.
• Compliance with SOPs, Quality Systems, OSHA guidelines, and company regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of quality control experience in a regulated industry.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of quality control experience in a regulated industry.
• Experience in medical device and/or drug manufacturing setting is preferred.

Skills

• Basic math skills including fractional to decimal conversions.
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments and at heights.
• Capability to sit, walk, or stand for prolonged periods, with frequent bending and kneeling.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong prioritization skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of quality regulations such as GMP, GDP, ISO, or 21CFR 820, 210 - 211.
