Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Patient Care Coordinator responsible for acting as a liaison between patients and the healthcare system. The primary goal is to ensure that patients receive necessary care and comprehend their medical conditions, medications, and instructions.
Responsibilities / Job Duties
- Plan, coordinate, and carry out patient care operations.
- Address patient requests and needs professionally.
- Respond to patient concerns promptly and ensure satisfaction.
- Schedule patient appointments and make reminder calls.
- Greet patients and direct them to examination rooms.
- Maintain and update patient medical records.
- Obtain insurance information, process billings, and collect payments.
- Collect and maintain patient health, demographic, and financial information.
- Develop patient care plans based on physician's assessments.
- Suggest process improvements to enhance patient services.
- Maintain confidentiality and secure patient records.
- Arrange insurance pre-certifications and patient registration.
- Keep patient records organized according to protocols.
- Participate in departmental performance improvement activities.
- Maintain good relationships with medical personnel and other department employees.
- Enter patient charges accurately and promptly.
- Ensure all communications reflect PPMG standards and mission.
- Maintain satisfactory attendance and prioritize workload efficiently.
- Display a positive, cooperative, and professional attitude at all times.
- Perform all other assigned duties.
