Job Posting: Medical Assistant - Sports Medicine
We are looking for a highly motivated and team-oriented Medical Assistant to join a busy sports medicine team. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be goal-oriented, and adapt quickly to changes. Our team is dedicated to a positive work culture that elevates both company morale and patient care.
This full-time position operates on a Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. schedule and is based out of our offices in the Denver Tech Center and Aurora.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare patients for office visits and X-rays.

Assist in drawing up injections.

Manage patient communication via phone, fax, and email, and handle out-of-work paperwork.

Maintain patient records and update electronic medical records.

Obtain necessary pre-operative authorizations and medical clearances.

Communicate with patients about surgery preparation and post-operative care.

Handle pre-authorizations and scheduling for surgeries.
Qualifications and Experience

2 years of specialist office experience is required.

Proficiency in medical terminology and knowledge of surgical procedures.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience with medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.

Previous experience in a surgical office setting is preferred.

Must pass a drug screen and background check prior to starting.
The pay for this position ranges from $23.00 to $26.00 per hour, based on experience.
