Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to independently set basic quality standards for in-process development. The role involves leading efforts in testing, sampling, and training, evaluating production processes, recommending improvements, and managing vendor quality. The successful candidate will generate and maintain documentation, apply statistical process control methods, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage development and implementation of process control and validation methods, ensuring product functionality.
- Design experiments to analyze products and processes, applying statistical process control (SPC) methods.
- Perform experimental product testing to maintain quality and minimize defects.
- Analyze reports to identify trends and lead corrective actions.
- Collaborate with supplier representatives for quality improvements and ensure effective corrective actions.
- Provide expertise in Product Development and Design Control activities.
- Ensure compliance with domestic and international regulations.
- Lead investigations of process non-conformances and develop corrective actions.
- Train and coach team members on processes and best practices.
- Act as Quality lead in absence of Quality Management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Math, or related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 4 years in Quality or Engineering.
- Experience with government and industry quality assurance standards (e.g., 21 CFR 820, ISO13485).
Skills

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Advanced Excel skills.
