Licensed Practical Nurse – Home Health
Location: Excelsior, MN
Pay: $35.00/hour
Schedule: 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m., three or four nights per week (very flexible)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide essential home care to a patient with ALS. The role involves supporting daily living needs, monitoring health status, and ensuring quality of life in a safe, comfortable environment.

Responsibilities:
Administer tube feedings and medications per provider orders
Perform assessments, monitor patient condition, and document findings
Provide wound care, airway management, and suctioning as needed
Assist with mobility, positioning, and use of medical equipment
Respond to emergencies, including CPR when necessary
Educate patients and families on care and treatment plans
Supervise and delegate tasks to Personal Care Assistants (PCAs)

Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current LPN license in Minnesota
Minimum 1 year of acute care or equivalent experience
Current BLS certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation
