Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Back Office Manager to oversee front desk operations at a bustling location. The role involves managing a high volume of daily visitors, ensuring accurate eligibility checks, collecting copays, scanning images, handling patient checkouts, and scheduling new appointments. This position requires expertise in using Aprima and Phreesia software and involves supporting patients with digital paperwork.
Responsibilities / Job Duties
- Manage front desk operations alongside a team at a busy location, serving up to 200-300 people daily.
- Ensure eligibility checks are done and information accuracy, especially for new patients.
- Collect copays and outstanding balances efficiently.
- Perform scanning of images, patient checkouts, and new appointment scheduling.
- Utilize Aprima and Phreesia software effectively.
- Assist patients with filling out digital paperwork in the waiting area as needed.
- Ensure PCP letters and authorizations are completed and submitted to Verisma when necessary.
- Potentially rotate between locations, necessitating flexibility in commuting to multiple sites.
