We are seeking a certified Pharmacy Technician to join a long-term care pharmacy in Edison, NJ. This role will focus primarily on prescription data entry, supporting pharmacists in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, computer-savvy, and motivated to provide high-quality support to patients and healthcare partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately enter prescription information into the system.

• Support pharmacists with day-to-day operations.

• Assist with filling, IV compounding, or inventory management when needed.

• Prepare medications for scheduled deliveries to facilities.

• Answer phone calls and provide assistance or direct to pharmacist as appropriate.

• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies.

• Ensure active New Jersey Pharmacy Technician certification is current.

Qualifications

Required:

• Active New Jersey Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT).

• Prior pharmacy technician experience.

• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office products.

• Availability to work the required full-time schedule with occasional weekend shifts.

Preferred:

• Long-term care pharmacy experience.

• IV compounding experience.

• Enter prescription data with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Support pharmacists with daily operations.

• May assist with filling, IV compounding, medication returns, and inventory management as needed.

• Answer phone calls and assist customers or route inquiries to the pharmacist.

• Help prepare medications for delivery to facilities.

• Maintain active Pharmacy Technician license/certification.

Full-Time, Monday–Friday (10:00am–6:30pm or 10:30am–7:00pm) + 3 weekend days/month
