Job Summary
Our client is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to provide exceptional patient care and ensure the smooth operation of assigned medical units. The primary responsibilities include conducting resident rounds, performing nursing care procedures, and maintaining effective communication with physicians and family members regarding patient status.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and review reports at the start of duty, taking necessary follow-up actions.
- Conduct resident rounds and identify issues requiring intervention, initiating corrective actions as needed.
- Accept assigned duties cooperatively, demonstrating dependability and punctuality.
- Maintain a professional appearance by adhering to uniform guidelines.
- Provide direct patient care and perform nursing procedures as required.
- Analyze nursing care needs and provide staff with directives for personalized care.
- Ensure prompt and accurate execution of physician's orders, and notify relevant parties of changes in resident status.
- Keep relevant nursing staff informed about unit activity and resident conditions.
- Maintain medicine rooms and drug carts satisfactorily.
- May perform Charge Nurse duties, overseeing resident care, staff coordination, and supervision.
- Promote staff development and conduct meetings to assess performance and address issues.
- Participate in nursing committees and educational activities for skill enhancement.
- Collaborate professionally with residents, staff, and consultants.
- Ensure treatments are performed by nursing staff as ordered by physicians.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Shift/Schedule
- Monday - Friday 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM
- Rotating Weekends
