Substance Use Disorder Program Manager
Reports to: Program Director
Summary:
The SUD Program Manager supports the Program Director in overseeing outpatient and intensive outpatient drug and alcohol treatment programs. This role combines program management, staff supervision, compliance oversight, financial sustainability, and client care to ensure high-quality services and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Leadership: Manage daily operations, supervise staff, coordinate with referring agencies, and ensure program goals are met.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to state/county regulations, oversee audits and reporting, and maintain certifications (DMC, AOD).
- Financial Oversight: Manage revenue cycle, billing compliance, and financial reporting.
- Staff Development: Recruit, train, and support staff; provide ongoing professional development.
- Client Care: Oversee assessments, treatment plans, counseling, and drug testing; monitor client progress and facilitate family education programs.
- Documentation: Ensure timely case notes, reports, and treatment documentation for regulatory bodies.
- Community Relations: Build partnerships with DCFS, probation/parole, courts, and community organizations; lead outreach and education initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Certified SUD Counselor with Clinical Supervision certification.
- 5+ years’ experience in substance use recovery, prevention, and program management.
- Knowledge of recovery models (12-step), SAPC billing, and LA County regulations.
- Strong leadership, compliance, and case management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to work independently and collaboratively.Benefits
