Job Summary

Our client is looking for a Referral Manager to join their team, connecting members to recognized experts from world-leading medical institutions. The role focuses on processing specialty referrals and ensuring that patients have access to high-quality medical care, leveraging both electronic and in-person connections.

Key Responsibilities

• Process specialty referrals.
• Obtain referrals from clinicians.
• Research insurance databases to find high-quality, in-network providers and facilities.
• Pull records and contact locations to ensure they address specific medical needs.
• Facilitate communication between the patient and the coordinator.
• Follow up with locations to verify if appointments are scheduled.
• Provide members with information to reach out to facilities, without directly scheduling appointments.
