Join Our Team as a Material Handler or Assembler!
Are you ready to build a career, not just a job? We’re looking for Material Handlers and Assemblers to join a rapidly growing team that builds massive engines and power generators. This is a chance to get your foot in the door with a company that values its people, offers long-term growth, and provides the training you need to succeed.
We're hiring for multiple shifts in Darien, WI and Beloit, WI. This is a 3-month contract-to-hire position with opportunities for quick conversion, excellent benefits, and a chance to earn profit-sharing bonuses!
As an Assembler, you'll be building power generators and enclosure systems that provide backup power to places like hospitals and data centers.
-
You'll start with a 4-week paid training program to learn the entire assembly process from start to finish.
-
You'll use a variety of hand and power tools (all provided!) like drills, torque wrenches, and screwdrivers to assemble large components.
-
You will be working with power generator casings, alternators, brackets, flywheels, and more.
As a Material Handler, you are the backbone of the production line, ensuring everyone has the parts they need to keep things moving. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
-
You will learn to operate a forklift to move and stage materials.
-
You'll receive, verify, and document incoming parts, and prepare kits for the assembly line.
-
You'll perform inventory counts and assist with shipping and receiving tasks.
-
You will have the opportunity to earn your forklift certification on the job.
What We're Looking For:
-
6+ months of relevant experience: We will be excited to hear examples of your experience with hand tools and/or receiving, inventory, or material handling.
-
Physical readiness: This is a hands-on, active role. You must be comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs regularly, standing for long periods, and climbing ladders and lifts. You will need to own a pair of steel-toed boots from day one.
-
Attention to detail: You must be able to read a tape measure—you’ll be tested on this during your interview.
-
Forklift experience is a plus: If you have previous forklift experience, that’s great! If not, we will train and certify the right candidate.
-
Comfort with the environment: The facility can be loud and warm in the summer. You'll also be working with insulation, so we recommend wearing a long-sleeved shirt and gloves.
Why Work With Us?
-
Competitive Pay & Shift Options:
-
First Shift: $21/hr (M-F & every other Sat, 5 AM - 3:30 PM)
-
Second Shift: $21/hr + $2/hr shift differential = $23/hr (M-F & every other Sat, 4 PM - 2:30 AM)
-
Career Growth: This company is expanding with a new facility in Beloit and an expansion in Darien, which means there are many pathways for professional and financial growth. You can advance into advanced assembly, electrician, or even leadership roles.
-
Bonuses and Benefits: You will be eligible for profit-sharing from your first day, with the potential to earn up to $6,000 in bonuses. Once converted to a permanent employee, you'll get access to outstanding benefits and paid time off.
We're looking for people with a great attitude who are committed to showing up and contributing to a positive team culture. We are ready to train and help you succeed.
