Job Description – Licensed Medicare Agent (Remote)
Position: Licensed Medicare Agent
Location: Remote (with option to come onsite if desired; surrounding states also open)
Start Dates: September 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd (rolling classes throughout September)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM ET to start (moving toward 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM ET; flexibility required). Every other Saturday required.
Contract Type: Contract (potential contract-to-hire through March; strong performers may be retained longer)
Pay Rate: $21/hour
Overview
We are seeking Licensed Medicare Agents to join a high-volume, fast-paced enrollment team ahead of the upcoming Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP). Agents will handle inbound and outbound calls, educate prospects on Medicare plans, and complete enrollments while ensuring compliance with CMS guidelines.
Candidates must complete an assessment prior to being submitted for consideration.
Responsibilities

Handle inbound phone calls from Medicare-eligible individuals.

Conduct consultative conversations to explain and compare Medicare Advantage, Prescription Drug, and Supplement plans.

Answer questions and ensure compliance with CMS guidelines.

Provide outbound follow-up calls when necessary to finalize enrollments.

Guide individuals through the Medicare plan selection process and complete enrollment applications.

Maintain accurate records and required documentation.

Manage back-to-back calls averaging ~45 minutes each.

Collaborate with peers and leadership to achieve enrollment goals during peak season.

Work 40+ hours weekly, with overtime available for strong performers.
Requirements

Active Life & Health Insurance License in one of the following states:
Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia

Strong communication skills; comfortable on the phone all day.

Ability to handle 50+ dials daily with professionalism and energy.

Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Computer/laptop with camera, Windows or Mac operating system, and reliable internet.
Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred.

Prior Medicare sales or insurance experience a plus (but not required—open to “green” agents).

Life Insurance license increases potential for retention beyond March.

Hourly Pay: $21/hour

Back-End Bonus: $25 per enrollment effective April 1 (post-RDE; offsets chargebacks)

New-to-Carrier Bonus: $10 per new carrier enrollment
