Job Title: Registered Dietitian (Remote)

Overview:
Medix is seeking highly skilled and compassionate Registered Dietitians to join a growing virtual health team delivering specialized, integrated care to individuals living with obesity and related chronic conditions. This is a fully remote opportunity with flexible scheduling, providing the chance to make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives from the comfort of your home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver intensive nutrition counseling and weight management education via phone, video, chat, text, and email.
- Support medication management and comorbidity care under the supervision of licensed physicians.
- Engage in remote patient monitoring using various medical devices (e.g., digital scale, blood glucose meter, blood pressure monitor, ketone meter).
- Provide support for the dosing and titration of anti-obesity medications, following established clinical protocols.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, care team members, and external providers to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
- Build rapport and therapeutic relationships with a diverse patient population using evidence-based counseling techniques, including motivational interviewing.
- Facilitate virtual educational webinars and group sessions as needed.
- Meet program performance metrics while upholding the highest standards of patient care.
- Accurately and promptly complete all required documentation within electronic health records.
Required Qualifications:
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- State licensure required where applicable, with willingness to obtain additional licenses as needed.
- Private, HIPAA-compliant home office setup with high-speed internet.
- Comfortable and proficient with digital health platforms, EMRs, and remote communication tools.
- Strong communication skills and ability to adjust messaging based on patient needs and health literacy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting patients on GLP-1 medications.
- Advanced training in motivational interviewing or behavior change techniques.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Excel, and other collaborative software tools.
- Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in dynamic, evolving virtual care environments.
